At the Siglap pizza hut with dear dear




Happy Valentines Day! Today I went to Tampines with baobei and then go Siglap to eat pizza hut. It was the first time I went to Siglap. It was very special as shops and houses were together, abit like Holland village.

We wanted to eat a restaurant named 惠 there but as it was v'day, they took away all the menus except for the special set. Thus we had to come out after sitting down. We ate the couple meal at pizza hut. A hiphop guy named Farazi was the host there. He was very gd in introducing and serving. There was Gelare and Hong Kong cafe too which open 24hrs on fri,sat and sun.

I just came back from Genting. I went there from wed till today. I went with urica and her parents. My father and ah ma went there too. We took a coach to Genting and we saw a van overturned on our way up the hill. We reached abt 1pm but they were having break. So we could only wait till 3pm for check in. We went to eat at a restaurant named Hainan.I ate their toast and it seemed not bad. After checking in we slept and rested till dinner time.

At night, we went to play at casino at night. I played big small and won $600. I only bet $25 per game. If I bet bigger think I may win $1200...haha...but I am already satisfied. The next day night, we went to play again. However it was not as smooth sailing as the previous night. We lost money at first. Then we won back as there was a very "strong" guy playing at our table. He bet on every player and won alot of money. At first I bet RM10..then slowly I increase it to 50 and then 2 players. Urica bey 50 for 2 players at one go so she won 400 plus in the end. I won 160.

We took a double decked coach back. However all of us sat on the second floor. We reached Singapore at abt 9pm.

Happy New Year! It is the second day of new year but this year no celebration again as they say must wait till 5th day before going to bai nian.

Today I went for the briefing for allied educator(learning and teaching). It was an MOE job and I waited for 2 months! I applied the job in last yr nov. However the pay that they offered me is $1344!

I asked around during the interview and the woman beside me had 10 yrs of experience so she got $2700. After the briefing, a guy named Mel Sun spoke to me. So I asked him abt the job. He had 6 yrs of teaching in NS as he signed a bond. He is a part time make up artist on assignment basis. And he'll be teaching makeup soon. He had a diploma in makeup and another tp diploma. He had even done makeup for some artistes too! He was offered $2400 and he wanted to start in feb as he wanted to work asap. He was from a single parent family but he is really very good in history.

He could even say out all the history randomly to me. He'll be working in Bowen Sec and I think he'll do very well from the impression he gives me. He said the interviewers were impressed by him when he asked them questions back. In all, he is really a very talented person. He's studying in SIM(RMIT) now and will be graduating on mon.

We walked all the way from tanjong pagar to raffles place and he alighted at khatib.

Today is just an ordinary day for me. However thoughts went thru my mind. Recently I got a reply from MOE for the allied educator(teaching and learning) position. But they only offer me $1334 for a 3 yr contract. When I applied it was 2 yr. They said it jus increased this yr. And it is a diploma job so that's y the salary is so low.

Although there will be NIE training, I still felt that it was too low a salary! Even O-levels can get this amount. My long waited job just vanished lidat...haiz...now looking out to see if there're better jobs.

Urica and her mother and Jas and I went to Beauty World Plaza to get our fortunes told. We made an appointment before going but not for me cos I think that ir's too ex...$40 per person...It is somewhere near SIM on 2nd storey. Jas' friend intro her the shop and heard that she's very accurate.

Jas asked abt her relationship and it doesn't seem too gd...the same for her career...As it is told thru 三世书, it says that in her past life she asked a monk to eat beef, so she had to treat other people to vegetarian food in this life.

For Urica, she had a very gd life. She stole clothes and bowls in her last life and so she needs to donate clothes...hehe...But in this life, she will excel in her career and will live in a private house. Her husband will be very rich too. She will have a daughter and a son.

Her mother is not bad too...will strike big money soon...lol...My cousin Wilson came too in the evening. He was a Jap in the past, that's why he likes to eat sushi...haha...and her relationship with his mother is not bad.

In all, it was quite accurate. If I have money in the future I think I will go too. They bought crystal bracelets to wear and Jas bought a pendant. Each cost abt $80.

Countdown time! It is the last day of 2008! I went to the channel 8 countdown party at vivo. It was the first time channel 8 is holding an outdoor countdown. I gave 2 tics to Hx and her friend. She joined her other friends in the Ou Xuan fan club. All of the them were wearing white.

There were Soul, Yi shi jie, Li ming shun, shawn....and alot of other singers attending. It was quite ok and a live telecast. However I was not able to watch the fireworks as it was blocked by the shelter.

Overall it was ok but I felt that the atmosphere was not as fun and happening as the previous year. There seemed to be lesser people in the mrt train too as compared to last yr.

I went for class gathering at orchard. As usual, only the few of us turned up. Ben,jy,huilin,siew,ps,jiayi,binglin and me! hehe... We decided for awhile where to go for dinner and finally decided on seoul garden as it was the cheapest there...keke...



However the food was not very fresh. The soup base is tasteless and the prawns are not fresh. Jy became very tanned. Ben is abit tanned too but not as tan as jy...haha...



After eating we went to drink at starbucks paragon. But only ben bought the drink as the rest was very full.

There is an online shop at Bukit Panjang having sales! The shop was just beside popular. It sells those goods imported from taiwan, from bags, shawls to clothes. Some were even new arrivals! Clothes are only selling at $10 and bags $15.

I bought a dress which I think can only be worn in cold areas and a "rainie yang" shirt. Both were last pieces...haiz...but very worth it...However I cannot try or exchange them.

I went to city square again with Jaron and his friend, Junjie, and my best friend, Hx. We reached there super early as we wanted to sing the morning ktv at 10am. His friend is very punctual and so we reached at abt 9.30am.

We sang till 1pm and ate the salad buffet and a main dish. I and hx in a room and the rest in another as we could sing longer that way. After the buffet, we went shopping. I felt abit of cramp while shopping and Jaron felt like vomitting...indigestion...We went to buy medicine but can only find pills. He wanted powder. After that he went to vomit everything out. However, he was still unwell so we went to mac to rest.

He slept for awhile and vomit again. But this time he was fully well. So we continue shopping. Our friends did not buy anything. We ate sushi king for dinner. The meal Jaron ordered tasted awful...like economice rice(as Jaron described)...the rest was ok.

We went home at abt 9pm. There was a traffic jam and so I reached home at abt 10 plus.

I went for training at university cultural centre(UCC) as an usher from 1 to 6pm. It is somewhere near NUS and I took bus 96 from clementi. They gave us a brief overview of what we need to do and an introduction. After that, we went for a tour of the whole centre to see the surroundings.

There will be a max of 2 mths probation period and after which become an official usher. I had a bad flu for the whole day. However, Jaron instead of concerning me, he scolded me for not taking care of myself! What kind of bf is he?! When I said abt breaking up, he even agreed! He said he could not tolerate my weaknesses! In the past, blur is a plus point. But when together, blur becomes a minus point! Why is he always so heck care and I am always the one being sad? He can take our relationship so lightly that sometimes I think he does not like me anymore.

I always tolerated his short temper too...don't I give in too? Why can't he do the same? Aren't relationships abt giving in and accepting the person for who he/she is? Is it cos' our relationship is too long? Last sat, my friend told me she was back with her ex. I hope she won't get hurt again and her ex has really learnt his lesson and don't hurt her again.

Should I be like my friend and break up with Jaron? But I know he won't woo me back like my friend's ex. He will just leave...that's why I need to consider carefully...Anyway I am already very happy that we had been together once as I always thought that a person like me won't be able to have such a gd bf. Maybe I cannot meet up to his expectations....maybe I should let him go to find somebody that suits him....maybe that'll be happier for both of us...maybe....

Today I went to watch movies....and before I went for the movie, I went to the toilet. As a door was not locked, I pushed open the door to go in. To my shock, there was a little girl sitting on the toilet bowl!!! I was so shocked that I faster say sorry and closed the door...haha...I think the girl was shocked too...Why the mother was not there to help her look after the door? Haiz...if I were her, I would be so embarrassed...

Today baobei went to 883 for recording as he participated in a campus competition and got into finals again. He went for the recording from 10 to 11pm. He was on air for abt 3 times, 2 mins each. In the final section when the DJ asked him if there's anyone he would like to thank, he said out a few names.

My name was mixed in the middle of his friends names and he said munling instead of joyce. Is it because he did not want others to know he had a gf? I think his cousins and parents are listening that's why he dared not emphasize. He emphasized his friend instead as she called to encourage him before the recording and asked if he would say out her name. He also emphasized his family and I am the only one left out as just friends. That's why I am in a strange position when this kind of situation occurs. He could not emphasize me. If his parents and relatives know abt me, he could just say it(but not sure if he would).

Last time when he participated in 1003, his aunt, mother and grandmother came to support him in the finals. After the whole thing, we still had to act as friends in front of his parents. He did not bother abt me. They went to eat after that and he asked me if I wanted to go along. I rejected it as I did not know what position I was to eat with them. As friends? Or as gf? I even felt shy in front of them. I did not know if I should go over to greet and talk to them or just act blur as friends. As usual, he was insensitive to me.

This time his finals will be at the heerens there. Will the same situation happen again? Will I meet his parents again? This time mayb I will just watch at one corner and go off with my friend after that. In that case I will not feel awkward again.

It was the first day of anime festival! It was the first time ever in Singapore! I won the tickets from buying biore at watsons. The person sent me 4 tickets instead as they had extras. There were alot of online games, comics and collectibles there. However as I was not into anime, it was an eye opener for me.

I saw alot of cosplay too and many pple were taking photos of them and interviewing them! Many "zai nan" just could not help asking cosplay girls around to take photos with them! Some cosplay pple even sat down to let them take all they want. I did not buy anything though.

Lin Junjie was there at the bookfest too for photo taking session. We went there as well as it is in suntec too...jus that different levels.

I went for interview at Great Eastern Centre today. As usual, I have no confidence of getting it. Failed so many interviews recently...haiz...really have to think carefully what's wrong with me. But luckily I got into UCC as usher. I think is because few pple went for interviews...haha...

I went to the library to read classified ads for jobs. I asked a guy if I could read the papers and he told me of course as it was the same as he was reading...keke...He then started talking to me as he was looking for job too. He was 32 and named Mark Tan. He even asked me for no. so that he could inform me if he had lobangs for jobs. He was jobless for a few mths and previously doing sales. He was a diploma holder. After he went off he even invited me to eat mac with him! But I did not do so...lol...

I was wearing formal wear and specs and he thought I was 18 or 19. I really hope I can get into a job soon...wasted too much time...And...I won Cape no. 7 from festive films today! It is 7pm tml at Lido. Heard that it's very nice and popular in Taiwan, going to watch it with Yen Lin tml.

Baobei got a briefing for 883. He got into the contest for DJ again...jus tat this time he's competing against other schools. Jiayou!

Sick again...have a bad flu and cough...Hope that I can faster recover to continue my job hunting!

I finally found my watch which I wanted to buy! I first saw it at an online blogshop and then saw it at muee. It was a "MINI" brand korean watch selling online at $39 and muee at $39.90 to $49.90. Those with leather straps are more expensive and those with plastic are cheaper.

The stall was located inside cold storage at causeway. It is only selling at $23.90 and it is real! It has the tags and box. However the box has an additional charge of $1. I bought one of it. Actually I felt like buying another watch but resisted the temptation in the end.

I also went to causeway to collect my 3in1 eyeshadow stick from a blogshop owner. It looks quite nice and very cheap! I had been keeping a lookout for that for a long time and finally found the cheapest selling blogshop. It only cost $1.20 each if buy 2. I bought 4! The owner is a very young girl in school uniform. I think she is in sec3 or 4 lidat. Anyway today I got 2 things which I wanted to buy for a long time! SO happy!=P

I went to Jurong bird park to watch sing to the dawn! It was the first singapore animation adapted from the literature book wriiten by Ho Minfong. It was also the literature book which I read about in my secondary school days.

We took some pictures first before we watched the movies and even took pictures with an eagle! The birds there are all so "professional" that we almost thought they are fake!lol...=P

The screening is at the amphitheatre. The screen is not very big and the system is quite bad. There were alot of technical faults in between. We bought chicken rice from Jurong point to eat while watching. It was very cheap...only $2. The movie only lasted for 1 hour plus but is quite nice...about the same storyline as what I had read before.

The movie was about a teenage girl named Dawan who fought for her rights to basic education.
One day, the entire village turned upside down when they need to pay taxes. Dawan's father, Somchai, wanted Dawan to tutor her brother, Kai, so that he could get a scholarship and Dawan to be married to Benz, son of landlord, Pairote. However, Dawan objected the idea and decided to get the scholarship herself so that she could go to the city to study.

Old Wichien, the village old and crazy puppeteer, told Dawan that the ownership of the land does not belong to Pairote and belongs to the villagers. So, Dawan went on a journey to find the decree with Kai and saved the village. She also realised her dreams to study in the city.

Today I went to amk kbox plaza to redeem for a pair of tickets to the movie 20th century boys. There is a short queue when I reach there. There are 100 tickets to be given away so I think there are some tickets left...hehe...

When I was queueing up, I suddenly saw Daniel Goh coming out of the kbox! He came out to redeem the tics too as the pple inside told them abt the free tics. He went to find Huang Qin and Peiyi who are just queueing behind me! I was so shocked and surprised. They were queueing behind for quite some time and I did not realise it. They said that they were not sure and so did not call me too...keke...We exchanged our numbers and I went in to find Yanfang as they were celebrating her birthday.

They were all studying in NTU now and Yanfang is actually studying nursing. Daniel is studying Econmics, same as me...haha... Anyway I got 2 pairs of tics in the end as I queue another time when I came out of the kbox and the queue was almost finishing. I got 2 postcards and 2 movie tickets for each queue. They took out posters too but did not see them giving out. I think they wanted to finish giving out the postacrds first. Nxt wk it'll be the coffin movie tickets at Kallang...looking forward to it...hehe...=P

Recently I cannot access my hotmail!! Haiz...dunno what happened...I have also received the bags from PG mall which I bought online a few days ago. They're quite nice...=P The first 2 bags above are from PG mall and the orange one is dear dear bought for me when he's in Hong Kong.
